Overwhelming para sa intermational singer na si Billy Crawford ang muling pagbabalik niya sa bansa para muling maipamalas ang kanyang kagalingan bilang isang world-class performer sa kanyang mga kababayan. Kaya lang, umamin ito na ninenerbiyos siya dahil sa mga intriga na posibleng ipukol sa kanyang paglipat sa ABS-CBN.
"That's what you can expect 'pag nandito ka, e. And I think, kung hindi ako pinag-uusapan, I'm doing something wrong in my career. So if everybody's interested of what I'm doing. I really appreciate lahat ng tao who's really interested on what I'm doing. I'll do it on a positive way," pahayag ni Billy sa presscon na ibinigay sa kanya ng ABS-CBN para sa paghu-host niya ng Pinoy Dream Academy 2 at ASAP '08.
Pero sa kabila nito, balitang mga mga taong nasaktan si Billy dahil sa paglipat niya sa ABS-CBN, partikular na ang mentor niya sa That's Entertainment na si German "Kuya Germs" Moreno at ang manager niya rito sa Pilipinas na si Raul Laurente. Bago kasi bumalik ng Pilipinas si Billy ay matagal siyang napanood sa GMA-7, kung saan nagkaroon pa nga siya ng show, ang Move.
"No matter what anybody's feeling, I really apologize for all the inconvenience," sabi ni Billy. "And from the bottom of my heart, it really hurts me, to be honest, to come back here and bear with these because ipinagmamalaki ko ang Pilipinas kahit saan ako pumunta. Pero sa pagbalik ko dito, I hear anger, I hear pain, I hear, you know, sama ng loob here and there. We're all just trying to work. We're all trying just to do a good job and that's what I'm here for."
May balitang masama rin ang loob ng TV host-actor na si Ryan Agoncillo dahil ang alam ng marami ay siya ang kukuning host ng PDA, pero napunta ito kay Billy. Ano ang masasabi ni Billy rito?
"Ryan is a good man and he is concentrating in acting, you know," sabi ni Billy. "And I can see that hosting a show and acting is completely different. So I gave him all the respect in the world. I haven't talked to him at all, and I don't know what the story is between Ryan and Pinoy Dream Academy. Actually, it's not my responsibility to say anything for Ryan and for myself as well."
Dahil magiging co-host na rin siya ng ASAP '08, very excited si Billy dahil makakasama na niya si Gary Valenciano.
"I'm old school. I'm really excited to perform again for Kuya Gary. You know, Kuya Gary is always been my mentor since I was young, you know. And to be performing with him, until now I'm overwhelmed and that's what I look at.
"I'm also excited to work with Sarah [Geronimo] because Sarah is a great singer. Even Christian Bautista and Erik [Santos], all of them, you know. I see what they do and I'm a big fan of them," pahayag ng international singer.
Ano naman ang pakiramdam ni Billy na isa na siyang Kapamilya ngayon?
"Nung lumaki ako, it's not about the channels," sabi niya. "You know, it's about the talents, it's about kung ano ang gusto ng publiko, and I'm here for them. I'm here for the fans, I'm here for everybody, and to all who supports me."

I really appreciate lahat ng tao who's really interested on what I'm doing.
