A very reliable source has told ABS-CBN.com that Lorna Tolentino is back with the Kapamilya network. Last June, buzz about Lorna's transfer to ABS-CBN surfaced after an offer was revealed by Lorna's manager, Lolit Solis. Lolit confessed that there was indeed an offer, but that Lorna had not yet decided if they would accept the offer. LT was also still recovering from the loss of her husband actor Rudy Fernandez.
But now, LT is finally back on ABS-CBN with a couple of projects already lined up, including a soap opera and a talk show. Lorna's last soap opera with the Kapamilya network was 2001’s Kay Tagal Kang Hinintay with John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo. The soap opera lasted for almost two years and gave birth to the John Lloyd-Bea tandem. After KTKH, Lorna then transferred to the rival network where she hosted a reality show and an entertainment talk show and appeared in a number of soaps.
After a long wait, Lorna is ready to set foot again in ABS-CBN as she appears on ASAP '08 this Sunday, July 13, our sources tell ABS-CBN.com. The grand slam actress will officially launch Daboy, a collection of the late Rudy Fernandez's films which will be aired Friday nights starting in July 18 in Primetime Bida. Prior to Rudy's passing, he had given ABS-CBN the rights to all of his movies. Fans and supporters of Daboy can soon relive his legacy on the Kapamilya network
